Vape Batteries
Removable lithium cells for box mods, plus the cases that keep them safe to carry.
The two formats
- 18650 — the long-standing standard, 3000 mAh in our range, fits almost every removable-battery mod.
- 21700 — physically larger with roughly a third more capacity at 4000 mAh, if your mod accepts it.
Check compatibility before ordering
A 21700 will not fit an 18650-only bay. Many newer mods take both, using a sleeve for the smaller cell. Check your device's manual rather than assuming.
Amp rating matters more than capacity
Capacity decides how long you vape between charges; the continuous discharge rating decides whether the cell can safely deliver the current your wattage demands. Running a low-amp cell hard is how batteries get dangerously hot.
Handling rules that are not optional
Never carry a bare cell in a pocket with keys or coins — a short circuit is a genuine fire risk, which is why battery cases exist. Inspect the wrap before every use and replace any cell with a tear, dent or unusual heat. In dual-battery mods, always use a matched pair, charged and replaced together.
Charging
An external charger is gentler than charging in the mod and lets you inspect each cell as you handle it. Charge on a hard, non-flammable surface and never unattended overnight.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between 18650 and 21700?
The 21700 is physically larger and holds about a third more capacity. It only fits mods designed to accept it.
Why does the amp rating matter?
It determines how much current the cell can safely supply. At high wattage, an underrated cell can overheat.
Can I carry a spare battery loose?
No. Use a battery case. Loose cells can short against keys or coins and catch fire.
Do I need two batteries?
Only for dual-battery mods, and then always a matched pair bought, charged and replaced together.
When should a battery be replaced?
If the wrap is torn, the cell is dented, it runs hot, or runtime drops noticeably.
