How strength is measured
E-liquid strength is given in milligrams of nicotine per millilitre (mg/ml). Nicotine pouches are labelled per pouch instead, because there is no liquid to measure. The two numbers are not comparable, so we list them separately above.
Which strength suits you
Strength interacts with the device: the more vapour a device makes, the more nicotine reaches you per puff. A high strength that feels smooth in a small pod kit can be overwhelming in a sub-ohm tank.
- Light or occasional use, or a low-nicotine preference: the lowest strengths listed.
- Switching from cigarettes with a pod kit or disposable: a mid to high nic salt strength.
- Sub-ohm vaping with a box mod and high-VG liquid: the lowest strengths only.
- Nicotine-free: available where listed, for flavour without nicotine.
Nic salt or freebase
Nicotine salt is smoother at higher strengths and is absorbed faster, which is why pod kits and disposables use it. Freebase nicotine gives a stronger throat hit at the same number, so it is usually sold at lower strengths for MTL kits and pens.
UAE rules
E-liquid sold in the UAE is capped at 20 mg/ml of nicotine under the national standard, and vaping products are regulated through the Emirates Conformity Assessment Scheme. Everything on this site is for adults aged 18 and over.

Frequently asked questions
What does mg/ml mean?
Milligrams of nicotine per millilitre of e-liquid. A 30ml bottle at 20 mg/ml contains 600mg of nicotine in total.
Is a higher mg always stronger?
Not in practice. A low strength in a high-power sub-ohm device can deliver more nicotine per puff than a high strength in a small pod kit.
What is the maximum strength allowed in the UAE?
E-liquid nicotine is capped at 20 mg/ml.
How are pouches measured?
In milligrams per pouch, not mg/ml. Compare pouches only with other pouches.
Which strength should a new vaper choose?
Start lower than you think you need. It is easy to move up, and too much nicotine feels harsh and can cause nausea.
