Find the right type of vape
Vapes fall into a few clear groups, and the right one depends on how often you vape, how much upkeep you want and whether you prefer a tight, cigarette-like draw or big clouds.
- Disposable vapes: prefilled and ready to use, nothing to refill. Our range runs from 800 to 6000 puffs.
- Pod systems: small refillable or closed-pod devices, such as the Halo X2 (up to 30 W, 1000 mAh) and Halo X2 Mini (25 W, 800 mAh).
- Vape kits and box mods: for experienced vapers who want adjustable power, from starter pens to the Halo Forge 80 W and 120 W box mods.
- Tanks and atomisers: the Halo Aero MTL and Sub-Ohm tanks fit standard 510 devices.
- E-shisha: pods and heads that bring shisha flavours such as Double Apple and Grape Mint to a vape device.
MTL or DTL?
Mouth-to-lung (MTL) vaping draws vapour into the mouth first, like a cigarette, and suits higher-nicotine nic salt e-liquids and pod kits. Direct-to-lung (DTL) inhales straight into the lungs, produces bigger clouds and pairs with sub-ohm tanks, lower-resistance coils and high-VG e-liquid at low nicotine. Knowing your style narrows the choice of device, coil and liquid.
Keep your kit running
Refillable devices need replacement pods or coils every one to two weeks depending on use and e-liquid. Match the coil resistance to your device, prime new coils with e-liquid before firing, and use the charging cable or charger listed on the product page. For 18650 box mods, only use quality flat-top cells with the correct amp rating and a protective case.
Vaping in the UAE
Vape products in the UAE are regulated under the Emirates Conformity Assessment Scheme, e-liquid nicotine is capped at 20 mg/mL, and vaping is for adults over 18. Heat is the biggest risk to devices here: don't leave vapes or batteries in a parked car or direct sun.
Frequently asked questions
Which vape is best for a beginner?
A disposable or a simple pod system. Disposables need no setup; a pod kit such as the Halo X2 Mini costs more at first but is cheaper to run if you vape daily.
What is the difference between a pod kit and a box mod?
A pod kit is compact, draw-activated or button-fired, and built for MTL vaping at lower power. A box mod such as the Halo Forge 80 W or 120 W offers adjustable wattage, takes larger tanks and suits DTL cloud vaping.
How often should I change my coil or pod?
Typically every one to two weeks. Replace it sooner if the flavour fades or tastes burnt. Sweet, dark e-liquids wear coils out faster.
Can I use any e-liquid in any vape?
Nic salt liquids suit low-power pod kits; high-VG liquids suit sub-ohm tanks and box mods. Using thick high-VG liquid in a small pod can cause dry hits.
Is it safe to leave a vape in the car in the UAE?
No. Summer temperatures inside a parked car can damage lithium batteries and cause leaks. Keep devices and spare batteries with you or in a cool place.
