What is dokha?
Dokha is a finely ground, lightly processed tobacco smoked in a medwakh. Because the bowl is so small, a session is only one or two draws, and the effect is quick.
Warm vs cold blends
Desert Rose Dokha Warm Blend and Cold Blend are both full-strength dokha from the United Arab Emirates. They differ in blend character; try both to find your preference.
Storage
Keep dokha in a sealed pouch or container away from heat and sunlight so it stays fresh and burns evenly.
Frequently asked questions
Which dokha blend is stronger?
Both Desert Rose blends are listed as full strength.
Is dokha suitable for beginners?
Dokha is strong. Start with a very small pinch and a single short draw.
How should dokha be stored?
Sealed, away from heat and light.
Do I need a special pipe for dokha?
Yes. Dokha is smoked in a medwakh, which has a very small bowl.
Is dokha the same as shisha tobacco?
No. Dokha is dry, finely ground tobacco; shisha tobacco is moist and mixed with molasses.
