Desert Rose Dokha Cold Blend

Cold, and what it means

Not temperature. In dokha, 'cold' describes a blend that tastes sharper and cleaner on the draw, where a warm blend is rounder and fuller. Experienced dokha smokers tend to prefer cold blends for exactly that clarity; newcomers usually find warm easier.

Full strength

Both our blends are full strength, and dokha at full strength is stronger than most people expect from any tobacco. A single small pinch is the serving size, and it produces a noticeable effect within a minute.

How to approach it

One pinch, loosely filled in a medwakh, two or three draws, then set it down and wait. If you feel lightheaded, that is the strength rather than something wrong — sit down and let it pass before considering another.

Traditional context

Dokha has been smoked in the Gulf for centuries and the ritual is deliberately brief. A medwakh session takes under a minute, which is why it fits into a majlis or a coffee stop in a way a hookah does not.

Storage

Airtight and dry. The fine cut dries out fast, and dry dokha burns hotter and harsher. Carry a working amount in a Dokha Pouch and leave the rest sealed.

Health

High-strength tobacco containing nicotine. Addictive and not risk-free. Adults 18+ only.
