Desert Rose Dokha Warm Blend

What dokha is

A finely shredded, air-cured tobacco traditional to the Arabian Peninsula, smoked in tiny quantities from a medwakh. It is not blended with flavouring or humectants the way shisha or pipe tobacco is — what you taste is the leaf.

Warm and cold, explained

The terms describe the character of the blend, not its temperature. A warm blend is rounder and fuller, generally considered the more approachable of the two; a cold blend is sharper and cleaner. Both here are full strength, and neither is mild.

Strength, which needs stating clearly

Dokha is considerably stronger than cigarette tobacco. A small pinch is a full serving, and first-time users commonly feel lightheaded within a minute. One pinch, then wait several minutes before deciding on another. Do not fill a medwakh bowl to the top.

How to smoke it

A pinch into the medwakh, loosely filled. Light, take two or three draws, set it down. A session lasts under a minute, which is the format working as intended rather than something going wrong.

Storage

Sealed and dry. Dokha is finely cut and dries quickly once open, and dry dokha burns hot and harsh. A Dokha Pouch is the practical way to carry a working amount.

Health

Dokha contains nicotine and is addictive, and it is high strength. Adults 18+ only.
