How it fits into a hookah
Exactly as the standard head does: in place of the bowl, on the stem, with the adapter making the seal airtight. Your existing hose, base and stem are unchanged.
Session management
There is no heat to manage, which is the fundamental difference from charcoal. What you do manage is charge and pod level — both are far more predictable than coals, and neither ruins a session if you misjudge them.
Coil life
The coil is the consumable. Flavour dulling or a burnt note means the coil, not the head. Keep a spare, because replacing one takes a minute and replacing a head does not.

Let it cool completely, wipe it, and store it dry. No soaking, no ash, no charred foil.
