Description
What restricted airflow does
It changes everything about how a device feels. A tight draw means less air mixing with the vapour, so the flavour is concentrated and the hit is firmer at the throat. It also means far less liquid consumed — an MTL setup might use a quarter of what a sub-ohm tank gets through.
Who fits one of these
People with a box mod who do not want clouds. It sounds contradictory, but plenty of vapers like the control and battery life of a mod while preferring a cigarette-like draw. This tank turns a mod into that device.
Liquid and coils
Higher-resistance coils at modest wattage, with nic salt or 50/50 freebase. Our 0.8Ω mesh coils are the natural match. High-VG liquid will wick too slowly through a restricted MTL coil and cause dry hits.
Leaks and how to avoid them
Do not overtighten, close the airflow while filling, keep it upright, and replace worn O-rings. MTL tanks leak less than sub-ohm tanks by design, so a leaking one usually has a specific cause rather than being inherently prone.
