What it is for

Devices that charge through a port rather than taking removable cells: pod kits like the Halo X2 and Nano, and rechargeable disposables such as the Nimbus Bar 6000 and Max series. One charger covers all of them.

Fast charging, honestly explained

The device controls its own charging rate. A good charger supplies clean, adequate current; it cannot force a small pod kit to charge faster than its circuitry allows. What it does prevent is the opposite problem — an underpowered charger or a poor cable making a device take hours.

Cables matter more than people think

If a device charges unusually slowly, try a different cable before blaming the charger or the device. Cheap cables with thin conductors are the most common cause of slow charging, and they are also the most common cause of intermittent connections.

Charging safely

Hard surface, unplug when full, and never leave a device charging unattended overnight. Do not charge a device that is hot from use or has been sitting in a car — let it cool first.

What it will not do

It does not charge removable 18650 or 21700 cells. Those need a dedicated bay charger such as our Dual or Quad.

In the heat

Charging generates heat, and UAE ambient temperatures compound it. Charge indoors, in air conditioning, not on a balcony in August.
